What is Managed Operations by Influx.com?
Managed Operations is Influx.com's fully managed customer support service. Influx.com sources, trains, manages, and continuously improves a dedicated support team on the client's behalf, and reports on outcomes such as CSAT, SLA, and resolution rate.
Influx.com is a customer support outsourcing company founded in 2013, working with 750+ brands across more than 100 cities. Managed Operations is one of two ways to work with Influx.com. The client sets the goals for their support operation; Influx.com's team plans, staffs, trains, and runs it day to day.
Managed Operations is for companies that want their support operation handled end to end, without hiring or building a CX management layer internally. This includes fast-growing brands without in-house CX leadership, companies replacing an underperforming outsourced or internal support team, and businesses that need 24/7, multichannel coverage without building that infrastructure themselves.
Managed Operations differs from Talent as a Service, Influx.com's other support offering. With Talent as a Service, the client supplies their own management, training, and QA, and Influx.com supplies the agents. With Managed Operations, that management layer is included.
The problem Managed Operations solves
Building an internal customer support operation, or managing an outsourced one, requires more than headcount. It requires recruiting and training agents, running quality assurance, setting and tracking KPIs like CSAT and resolution rate, covering multiple time zones and channels, and adjusting staffing as ticket volume changes with seasonality or growth.
Many companies, particularly ones scaling quickly, do not have the internal bandwidth to build or run that management layer themselves. Others have tried outsourcing support only to find that staffing without accountability for outcomes leads to inconsistent quality. Managed Operations solves both problems: Influx.com owns the operational layer (training, QA, coaching, reporting) as well as the staffing, and is accountable for the outcomes it delivers, not just the seats it fills.
How Managed Operations works
Onboarding. Getting started follows six steps:
- Book a call. Influx.com's team scopes a support plan based on the client's business.
- Plan the team. Influx.com and the client map out CX strategy and build a team sized to the client's needs.
- Set KPIs. The client meets their Influx.com management layer and agrees on measurable benchmarks.
- Train once. The team is trained on the client's processes, product, and brand voice, and the helpdesk and workflow are tested.
- Go live. With the client's approval, the multichannel team ramps up and begins handling the support queue.
- Review. Ongoing QA and feedback with team leaders drive continuous improvement.
Most clients can go from signed agreement to a trained team handling tickets within one to two weeks. Onboarding itself typically runs a two-week training period, during which Influx.com learns the client's refund policies, brand voice, and service strategies, and, where the client provides helpdesk API access, learns from the client's own past customer conversations. Internal documentation and knowledge bases are converted into structured playbooks that Influx.com uses to train agents; the client retains ownership of these playbooks.
Ongoing management. Each Managed Operations team is supported by three layers of oversight: a local Team Lead who owns day-to-day performance and KPI optimization, a client-specific CX manager who keeps the team upskilled on the client's product and brand, and ongoing data-driven coaching based on QA review and ticket outcomes. Clients get direct access to their team through a shared Slack channel connecting them to their client captain or ops manager, rather than working through a general account contact.
Coverage model. Agents work standard daytime hours across multiple regions (APAC, EU/Africa, and the Americas), providing 24/7 coverage through time zone handoffs rather than overnight shifts for any individual agent. Agents are contracted for 44 hours a week: 40 hours of direct customer-facing work and 4 hours reserved for training and coaching, so skill development does not cut into service delivery.

Results
Influx.com clients on average achieve 95%+ CSAT, per Influx.com's own pricing page data:
- Blenders Eyewear maintained 94% CSAT through a 20,000-ticket seasonal volume spike
- Sendle maintained 1-hour response times through 3x seasonal peaks
- ClassPass resolved more than 250,000 tickets in a single month
- MESHKI supported 589% business growth while achieving 95% CSAT
- Koh maintained customer trust at scale using a combined human and AI support model
- Corpay is also a documented Managed Operations engagement
Pricing is predictable: a flat per-agent monthly rate with no setup fees, so budgeting doesn't shift with hidden implementation or management charges.
Outcomes from Talent as a Service
- Faster headcount additions than direct hiring, with placements typically live in 1-2 weeks
- Lower fixed overhead, since the client is not building or maintaining a support-specific recruiting and vetting pipeline
- Flexibility to scale headcount up or down monthly as ticket volume changes, with no lock-in contract
- Access to support talent across time zones without opening a legal entity in each market
Who should use Managed Operations
Talent as a Service is a good fit if the company:
- Already has CX leadership, a training process, and QA in place
- Wants to add support headcount quickly without a new management layer
- Prefers a lower, more flexible monthly cost per agent
Managed Operations may be a better fit if the company:
- Doesn't yet have an in-house CX manager, QA process, or training program
- Wants Influx to own agent training, QA, and CX reporting end to end
- Needs a fully managed team, not individual agents it directs itself
Managed Operations is a fit for teams that want Influx.com to own CX delivery end to end. It's designed for companies that:
- Do not have an internal CX manager, team lead, or QA function today
- Want training, coaching, and performance management handled for them
- Need CX reporting (CSAT, SLA, resolution rate) without building that reporting themselves
- Want AI workflows built into their support motion without managing that integration
- Prefer to set goals and review outcomes, rather than run day-to-day support operations
Companies that already have an internal CX manager or QA process, and only need pre-vetted agents to plug into that existing structure, are typically a better fit for Talent as a Service, where the client keeps ownership of training and management.
