You sit at the intersection of finance and technology. You aren't satisfied with "how it’s always been done." You look at a manual spreadsheet and see a Python script, an Apps Script macro, or an AI workflow waiting to happen. At Influx, we are looking for a builder to lead the evolution of our financial systems.
We don't want you to just "do the work". We want you to change how the work gets done. You will collaborate with our Financial Controller and engineers to design smarter systems, reduce manual admin, and drive process excellence that scales globally.

What You Will Build & Solve

Automate the Mundane

• Reduce spreadsheet dependency by designing smart processes and automation.
• Utilize advanced Google Sheets, complex formulas, and Apps Script to eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude.ai) to generate code and optimize workflows.

Own the Financial Stack

• Take full ownership of our in-house financial systems and lead their enhancement.
• Work closely with Engineering to identify improvements and implement scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot system issues and create clear, robust process maps and guides.

Drive Projects & Operations

• Lead cross-functional finance initiatives and new launch reporting.
• Define success criteria for system implementations and ensure they land successfully.
• Support the team with ad-hoc accounting tasks (reconciliations, payroll support) to keep the engine running smoothly.

The Toolkit You Need

• Experience: 3–8 years in Operations/Systems Management (workflow automation, ERP integration), preferably within a finance context.
• The "Hybrid" Brain: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, OR Finance/Accounting.
• Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (Macros, Apps Script) is a must. Familiarity with using AI for code generation and process automation is highly desired.
• System Mindset: You prioritize scalable solutions over ad-hoc fixes and have a strong understanding of ERP implementation.
